Retune Support
Need help with a rule, control, purchase, or saved puzzle? Start here. Retune stores progress locally on your device and does not require an account.
Quick start
Objective: push every box onto a target ring.
Boxes can cross rule chips that permanently change how their future pushes behave — Rotate, Mirror ×2, and Freeze. In later rooms, Rule Drift transfers an attached rule from one box to another after a visible number of successful pushes.
Quick help
How do I move?
Use swipe-anywhere controls or enable the on-screen direction buttons in Settings.
What does Rotate do?
Rotate turns the result of a push clockwise. It changes where the box moves, not which direction you press.
What does Mirror ×2 do?
Mirror attempts to move the box two open cells. If the second cell is blocked, the box stops on the last open cell.
What does Freeze do?
Freeze makes a box permanently immovable for the rest of that puzzle.
What counts toward Rule Drift?
Only successful box pushes count. Walking and blocked actions do not advance the counter.
Can I undo a move?
Yes. Undo restores the previous action, including rules, chips, pushes, and the drift counter.
Where is progress stored?
Campaign progress, settings, Daily completion, and the current in-progress puzzle are stored locally on the device.
Does Retune require internet access?
No. Gameplay is fully offline. External support and legal links open the NovoBuild website.
How do I restore a purchase?
Retune is sold as a paid app and has no in-app purchases. Download it again from the same Apple Account through the App Store.
Troubleshooting
- Update to the newest Retune version.
- Fully close and reopen the app.
- Check Settings for Sound, Haptics, Reduced Motion, Appearance, and Controls.
- Use Reset only when you intend to restart the current puzzle — it starts the room over.
- Deleting the app may remove local progress unless iOS restores its app data.
