Swimward

Swim Habit Companion

A gentler way to keep swimming.

Swimward turns the swims already in Apple Health into clear progress, a useful next swim, and a living cove that grows every time you return to the water.

YOUR SWIMS ALREADY TELL A STORY

See what happened. Know what to do next.

Swimward reads completed swimming workouts, keeps pool and open-water sessions in the right context, and gives each swim a clear receipt. Then it suggests one conservative next step that fits the pool you actually use.

A receipt after every swim

Distance, time, same-pool context, and one useful takeaway.

Plans that fit your pool

Standard yard and meter pools, 50-meter pools, backyard pools, and custom lengths.

Progress without punishment

No streaks to lose. Rest never shrinks the cove or takes progress away.

From Apple Watch to your next swim.

STEP 1

Swim

Record a pool or open-water workout with Apple Watch or another source that saves swimming workouts to Apple Health.

STEP 2

Understand

Swimward imports the completed workout and explains what changed using credible, same-pool comparisons.

STEP 3

Grow the cove

Your companion grows through five stages and completed swims bring persistent discoveries into the sanctuary.

STEP 4

Return with a plan

Choose easy, steady, distance, or variety. Save the plan for a date and, with Lifetime, schedule it in the Apple Watch Workout app.

MEET RIPPLE

A companion that remembers the swimming—not the missed days.

Ripple grows through five visible stages, responds to your recent swimming, and lives in a cove that changes with the time of day. Twelve discoveries stay in the sanctuary, each tied to a completed swim and its own small story. Quiet weeks are treated as rest, never failure.

  • Five growth stages
  • Responsive moods
  • Twelve persistent discoveries
  • Dawn, daylight, dusk, and night
  • No streak loss

Useful guidance, kept honest.

Same-pool comparisons

Pace and progress comparisons stay within the same pool length. Open-water distance never inflates a pool plan.

Weekly and four-week context

See recent distance and pace direction without treating one swim as a verdict.

Adaptive next-swim plans

Plans include exact lengths, total distance, and real recovery intervals.

Planned versus completed

Swimward can match a dated plan to a later same-pool workout and treats the plan as guidance—not pass/fail.

Saved pools

Keep home, gym, seasonal, short, and custom pools organized.

Apple Watch scheduling

Lifetime can send a structured swim to the Workout app using WorkoutKit.

Start free. Keep it forever with one unlock.

Questions, answered plainly.

Is Swimward available now?

Not publicly. Swimward is in active development and private TestFlight testing.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

Apple Watch is the most natural way to record swims and receive scheduled workouts, but Swimward reads supported swimming workouts stored in Apple Health.

Is this a coaching app?

No. Swimward offers lightweight interpretation and conservative next-swim plans for self-directed swimmers. It is not a replacement for a coach.

Does it support my pool?

Swimward supports 25-yard, 25-meter, and 50-meter pools, plus backyard and custom pool lengths.

Will a missed week hurt my progress?

No. There are no punitive streaks, and rest never removes companion growth or discoveries.

Is there a subscription?

No subscription is planned. The current model is a useful free app with an optional one-time Lifetime unlock.

Does Swimward write to Apple Health?

No. The release app uses read-only Health access. Sending a planned set to the Apple Watch Workout app is separate from writing completed workouts to Health.
