Fathom Support
Fathom: Path Logic is awaiting App Store review and is not yet available to download. The information below covers how the game works; it will be expanded after release. Fathom stores progress on your device and does not require an account.
Quick start
Objective: chart the dark and complete the mission efficiently.
Probe an edge for one Intel, spend two on a focused Sonar, or commit five to a wider Deep Pulse. Every attempt reveals useful information — the challenge is deciding how much the next answer is worth.
Quick help
What is the goal?
Explore a hidden facility one edge at a time, find the objectives, and complete the mission using as little Intel as possible. Known routes can be traveled freely.
What does Probe do?
Probe (1 Intel) tests one unknown direction. A corridor lets you move; a wall becomes permanently charted on your map.
What does Sonar do?
Sonar (2 Intel) sends a focused pulse through the nearby dark for a brief tactical glimpse and a focused signal.
What does Deep Pulse do?
Deep Pulse (5 Intel) reaches farther with a wider temporary reveal. It is powerful when you are stuck — and expensive when you are not.
How are grades earned?
Your Intel score records how efficiently you solved the mission. Grades run from S to C, so improvement is easy to understand and there is always a reason to replay a map.
Is there a timer or move limit?
No. Fathom rewards observation, memory, and efficient decisions at your own pace.
What are the game modes?
Campaign (twelve handcrafted missions), Daily Challenge (a fresh Easy, Medium, and Hard sequence each day), and Free Dive (endless seeded missions). Mission types include Echo Hunt, Relay Chain, and Sector Survey.
Where is my progress stored?
Progress is saved on your device. Fathom has no accounts and, in its current design, no ads, analytics, or tracking.
When can I download Fathom?

Troubleshooting
- Fully close and reopen the app.
- Controls can be placed on the left or right side of the screen — check Settings if the layout feels wrong.
- The game is played in landscape; rotate your device if the board looks cramped.
- Deleting the app may remove locally saved progress unless iOS restores its app data.
- When reporting a problem, note your device model, iOS version, Fathom version, and what happened just before the issue.
