Accessibility
Accessibility in Stonegate: The Mad Baron
Stonegate: The Mad Baron is designed to provide a readable and comfortable gameplay experience on iPad and iPhone.
Current accessibility support
Dark interface
Stonegate uses a consistently dark visual design throughout dungeon exploration, combat, menus, character management, and town activities.
Reduced motion
Stonegate avoids persistent motion, head bobbing, parallax effects, and other unnecessary movement during normal gameplay. Screen transitions and combat effects are designed to be brief and restrained.
Captions and audio-independent gameplay
Stonegate contains no spoken dialogue. Important gameplay events, combat outcomes, status changes, discoveries, and other relevant information are presented visually through the game interface and running event log.
Music and sound effects provide atmosphere and feedback but are not required to understand instructions, navigate the interface, follow gameplay events, or complete the game.
Readable, color-independent information
Important gameplay information is communicated through text, numbers, icons, labels, and interface positioning rather than through color alone.
Text, buttons, icons, and other interface elements are designed to remain distinguishable against their backgrounds.
Accessibility feedback
Accessibility will continue to be evaluated as Stonegate is updated.
