Accessibility Statement

LeanSignal

Effective date: July 17, 2026 · Last updated: July 17, 2026

NovoBuild wants LeanSignal to be usable by as many people as possible. This page describes the accessibility support currently built into the app, its known limitations, and how to send accessibility feedback. It documents behavior that has actually been tested, not aspirational claims.

Current app support

  • SwiftUI semantic controls and labels throughout the app.
  • Dynamic Type, including accessibility-size layout adaptations in key custom views.
  • VoiceOver descriptions for charts, progress photos, source indicators, and custom controls.
  • Reduced Motion support in tutorial navigation.
  • Important states expressed with text, icons, and labels rather than color alone.
  • System light and dark appearances.
  • Audio-independent operation — the app does not rely on sound to communicate results.

Known limitations

  • LeanSignal has not been formally audited against WCAG, and NovoBuild does not claim WCAG conformance for the app or this website at this time.
  • VoiceOver support has been tested on key flows, but full conformance across every screen has not been verified.
  • Some dense chart views may be easier to review using the accompanying text summaries than the chart itself.
  • At the largest accessibility text sizes, a small number of secondary views may require additional scrolling.

Accessibility feedback

If an accessibility barrier keeps you from using LeanSignal, please tell us. Reports about assistive-technology problems are prioritized, and your feedback directly shapes future updates. Include the device, iOS version, assistive technology in use, and the screen where the problem occurs.

This website

The NovoBuild website aims for semantic heading structure, keyboard-accessible navigation with visible focus states, useful alternative text for informational images (decorative artwork uses empty alt text), WCAG AA color contrast for text and controls, support for 200% text enlargement, and respect for reduced-motion preferences. If you find a barrier on this website, please use the same feedback channels above.
